On June 8, Starlight Film Festival was postponed due to air quality but is now scheduled for Thursday, June 15. First up…DC League of Superpets! Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime side by side in Metropolis. However, when the Man of Steel and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a ragtag group of animals to master their own newfound powers for a rescue mission.
Superpets stars the voices of Dwayne Johnson, Kate McKinnon, Kevin Hart, and Keanu Reeves. Superpets is rated PG and has a runtime of 1 hour, 45 minutes.
On July 13, Starlight Film Festival presents Puss in Boots - The Last Wish! In this sequel, Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll when he learns that he has burnt through eight of his nine lives. Puss sets out on an epic journey to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives.
Puss in Boots - The Last Wish stars the voices of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, and John Mullaney. The film is rated PG and has a runtime of 1 hour, 40 minutes.
On August 10, Starlight Film Festival presents The Bad Guys! After a lifetime of legendary heists, notorious criminals Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark and Ms. Tarantula are finally caught. To avoid a prison sentence, the animal outlaws must pull off their most challenging con yet -- becoming model citizens. Under the tutelage of their mentor, Professor Marmalade, the dubious gang sets out to fool the world that they're turning good.
