Rebecca Price Janney is a woman of many talents. She is an award winning author, historian, speaker, podcaster, and more. Rebecca has written two dozen books, both fiction and non-fiction. Her newest book, Easton at the Pass, was released last summer and is the fourth book in her award-winning Easton series.
Susan Lantz Simpson
Susan Lantz Simpson is author of two Amish fiction series set in Southern Maryland. She has published nine titles all together. Her newest book, Samuel’s Return, is scheduled for release on April, 27, and is available for pre-order.

Tiffany Youngblood is author of the children’s chapter books The Dirt on Mr. Claxton and A Rational Explanation. She is an Urbana native and now resides with her family in Texas.

FURL’s Local Author Spotlight series featuring Laralyn Doran. Doran has lived in the Urbana area for almost 20 years. She is an award winning author. Her latest work “A Fast Woman” was published in September 2020 and is currently available in digital and paperback.
Kari Martindale
The first author in our series is Kari Martindale. Kari has published two children’s books based on her Jack Russel Terrier, Flash. Additionally, Kari is the President of the Maryland Writers’ Association- Frederick Chapter, an adjunct faculty member at Frederick Community College, and a former linguist with the U.S. Air Force.
