The Friends of the Urbana Regional Library (FURL) are delighted to announce the highly anticipated Fall Used Book Sale, where you can embark on a thrilling literary adventure and discover an array of hidden treasures. This event is not just for bookworms; it's an opportunity for anyone to find captivating stories, expand their knowledge, and contribute to a great cause. So, mark your calendars and get ready to dive into a sea of books that await you at our exciting Fall Used Book Sale weekend!

The sale will take place in the community room on the lower level of the Urbana Regional Library, 9020 Amelung Street, Frederick, MD 21704. The book sale is open to the general public at 10am on Saturday, September 30, though FURL members are invited to shop an hour early at 9am!* (Psst…you can join now!)
On Sunday, October 1 during the final hours, we often do our “Books in a Bag” promotion when you can fill up a tote bag with as many books as you want for $5. Bring Your Own Bag is helpful, if you can please! Check our Facebook page for updates during the sale. RSVP to our Facebook Event for reminders.
Most books are $1 or less, and DVDs are 10 for $5.
We accept book donations year-round so please continue to generously donate your used books! You can drop off books anytime the Urbana Regional Library is open, at our lower level alcove.
Volunteers welcome! Sign up for helping us set-up, take-down, and/or help at the event.
*Not a member yet? Please consider joining us now for a lifetime membership of $10. There are no obligations, although you are welcome to volunteer, get involved in leadership, and/or participate in meetings (2nd Tuesdays of the month) if you desire. Our book sales directly support the Urbana Regional Library, programs, and staff.
