Yesterday, April 6, was National Library Workers Day, a time to acknowledge the hard work of our library staff and their contributions to the community. FURL celebrated our wonderful URL staff with assorted drinks and custom cookies. We so appreciate their tireless work this past year throughout the pandemic in keeping our community connected, informed, and well-read. The sense of normalcy the library has helped provide in the past twelve months is invaluable to our community.
Although the Urbana Library building remains closed to the public, URL staff is working hard at planning virtual programming, fulfilling book requests, and personalizing your book picks. We are so grateful to all of our library’s workers, today and every day!
